The arrow specifies towards a forward part of the car.

The lever changes at detection of wear of spherical support. When replacing the lever it is also necessary to replace and the plug of an axis of the lever. Installation of the plug from the old lever is forbidden.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a car front.
2. Check wear of spherical support of the lever, having shaken the lever the mount inserted between it and a rack or a cross-piece of a suspension bracket (it is also possible to squeeze a support in the place of its installation, using special capture). The noticeable side play will indicate the need replacements of the lever assembled with a support, – replacement of these details is separately not provided.
	3. Check a condition of rubber plugs. At detection of cracks, gaps or "drying" of rubber of the plug replace. The manufacturer recommends the following method of check of a condition of the plug of the lever. Create loading on each front seat on 68 kgfs, in the middle of a back seat – 68 kgfs, in a luggage carrier – 21 kgfs, fill completely fuel tank. By means of the probe check a gap And which has to be within 0,7–1,7 mm. Otherwise the plug should be replaced.
Prevention Rubber plugs of levers of a suspension bracket change only in couple. When replacing track that on plugs there was a brand of one manufacturer.
	4. Turn off 2 bolts of fastening of an arm of the plug of the lever of a suspension bracket to a body.
5. By means of a stripper remove an arm with the plug from the lever (for centering of a bolt of a stripper it is recommended to nakernit dredging in a lever axis).
6. Designate orientation of the plug in an arm that at assembly to install the new plug just in the same situation. Vypressuyte the plug (special equipment therefore it is recommended to vypresssovat the plug in car service is required here).
7. At assembly grease the termination of the lever with quick-drying lubricant 81 22 9 407 284 and a napressuyta the plug with an arm against the stop.
Prevention It is forbidden to use lubricant of other structure at a plug napressovka. The recommended lubricant dries 30 min. then there are usazhivany plugs on a lever axis later.
	8. Track the correct orientation of the plug of the lever at a napressovka.
9. Tighten plug arm bolts with the set moment.
10. Lower the car. Driving is allowed not less than 30 min. later, i.e. through time necessary for drying of assembly lubricant.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift a front of the car and remove a wheel.
	2. Turn off 2 bolts of fastening of an arm of the plug of an axis of the lever to a body.
	3. Turn off a nut of fastening of a finger of a spherical support on a cross-piece of a suspension bracket and a vypressuyta a support finger from a cross-piece by means of a stripper. Take measures to damaging a rubber cover of a support.

4. Turn off a samopodzhimny nut of a finger of a spherical support on a rotary fist and a vypressuyta a finger of a spherical support. If the lever with support changes, then in the absence of a stripper the finger can be vypressovat several strong blows of the Hummer.
5. Remove the lever.
6. Replace the lever axis plug.
7. Installation is carried out upside-down. Replace nuts of fingers of spherical support. Delay all connections with the moments specified in subsection 11.1.2.
8. After assembly check and adjust the angles of installation of wheels in car service.
