3.2.10. Order of dismantling of the engine

GENERAL INFORMATION

It is recommended to disassemble the engine at the special stand if there is no stand, then fix the engine on the flat platform.

If the restored engine is bought, then it is necessary to remove all hinged units and to install them subsequently just in the same order as well as at samotoyatelny capital repairs. Treat such units:

 – generator and arms;
 – details of system of decrease in toxicity;
 – distributor of ignition, candle and high-voltage wires;
 – thermostat and cover;
 – pump of cooling liquid;
 – details of system of injection of fuel or carburetor;
 – collectors;
 – oil filter and sensor of pressure of oil;
 – engine mount arms;
 – flywheel/drive plate of the hydrotransformer;
 – back intensifying plate.

Before removal of hinged units apply tags on laying, epiploons and other details to facilitate assembly.

If the block of cylinders of an incomplete complete set is installed, then it is also necessary to remove a head of the block of cylinders, oil pallet and the oil pump.

If it is planned to make capital repairs with full dismantling, then the engine should be disassembled completely in the following order:

 – cover of a head of cylinders;
 – soaking-up and final collectors;
 – forward covers;
 – chains and asterisks;
 – pump of cooling liquid;
 – head of cylinders;
 – oil pump;
 – conrod and piston group;
 – crankshaft with radical bearings;
 – cam-shaft;
 – rollers and yokes (except M40);
 – hydropushers and levers of pushers (M40);
 – crackers of springs of valves and spring;
 – valves.
