GENERAL INFORMATION

Latch of fastening of a casing of the fan on 6-cylinder engines of 1984-87.

 The latch is removed in the direction of an arrow. On models 1988-90 of of a latch have the same design.

 On 4-cylinder engines this branch pipe is mounted in the lower part of a radiator.

Removal of a radiator

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. After full cooling of the engine merge liquid.
3. Disconnect cooling hoses from a radiator, if necessary turn a hose, having pressed out it suitable adaptation.

4. Unscrew screws of fastening of a casing of the fan to a radiator (or get latches) and give a casing to a radiator. Shoot a casing with parts of cars.
5. On cars from the automatic transmission disconnect hoses of a cooler of transmission liquid.

6. Remove fan thermoswitches from a radiator (arrangement of thermoswitches of the 1st and 2nd speeds of rotation of the auxiliary fan depends on car model).

7. Turn off bolts (nuts) of fastening of a radiator, and, having carefully raised, get a radiator.
8. Clear a radiator and check a condition of pillows.
9. Assembly is carried out upside-down. On cars from the automatic transmission check the level of liquid and restore.
