10:15. Hoses and lines of a hydraulic actuator of brakes


Hoses and lines of a hydraulic actuator of brakes have to be checked through each 20000 km or each 2 years (depending on what will come earlier).


Lift the car and establish on supports, then check flexible hoses for existence of cracks, swellings, leaks and other damages. It is an important and vulnerable part of the brake system and therefore it has to be checked carefully. Metal tubes have to be checked for corrosion existence. If on hoses or tubes there are specified damages, then replace them.

Replacement of flexible hoses

1. Clear hose tips. Prepare a suitable container for draining of liquid after a hose detachment.
2. To disconnect a hose from a tube, hold a key a hose for six-sided lysk on a hose tip (right lower arrow), and release an union nut on a metal tube (right top arrow) by means of a cap key with a section. If the nut does not turn away, then dig on it the getting liquid. After a hose detachment from a metal tube, remove a spring bracket and disconnect a hose from an arm.
3. Disconnect flexible hoses from a support having turned out them. Muffle an opening in a support.
4. Installation is carried out upside-down. Make sure that arms in good shape and lock-nuts are reliably tightened. Replace a spring bracket if it does not hold a hose.
5. Make sure that hoses do not adjoin to details of a suspension bracket and steering, having asked the assistant to turn a wheel in both parties against the stop.
6. Upon termination of remove air from a hydraulic actuator (see subsection 10.16).

Replacement of metal brake tubes

When replacing tubes of the highway of a hydraulic actuator always establish the tubes acquired in car service of the manufacturer.

The tubes delivered in the spare part by the manufacturer, straight lines in the place are not curved. For giving of the corresponding form it is necessary to use the trubogibny device.

1. Pick up the phone and carefully measure length for which pick up new and bend in accuracy on removed. The minimum radius of a bend should not be less than 14 mm. Track safety of a covering of tubes at are flexible.
2. At installation be convinced that the new tube in accuracy keeps within the same brackets, as removed and that between a tube and the moving or warmed parts there are sufficient gaps.
3. Upon termination of remove air from a hydraulic actuator.
