GENERAL INFORMATION

Pneumosafety sitema sensor arrangement
The sensor of system of pneumosafety is located in a motor compartment.

Late models are equipped with system of pneumosafety (SRS system) which is intended for protection of the driver in case of collision.

Are a part of system the packed pillow mounted in the form of the module in the center of a steering wheel, 2 sensors of shock loading strengthened on forward mudguards in a motor compartment and the safety sensor which is in salon. The device of forcing is under a pillow and is connected to it an opening through which gas at receipt of an electric signal is supplied. The signal is given on the cable winded in a flexible spiral around a wheel shaft. 2 sensors at blow with the set force close a chain. Operation of the device of gas emission happens only at short circuit of contacts of the safety sensor on which signals from 2 sensors of shock loading arrive. The block which contains the safety sensor provides check of a condition of system of pneumosafety. The control lamp of system (AIRBAG lamp) at first lights up and at serviceable system dies away. If the system is faulty, then the lamp continues to burn or blink. In this case the car should be handed over immediately in car service for check.
