6.5. Throttle branch pipe
GENERAL INFORMATION

Cable of an accelerator of automatic transmission (A), cable cruise control (V) and cable of the drive of a butterfly valve (C)

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On completely cooled down engine remove the air cleaner and take an air duct aside.
2. Check completeness of opening of the gate, having asked the assistant to press a pedal. Check smoothness of the course of the gate.
3. During the abnormal operation of the gate replace a throttle branch pipe.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. Disconnect an air duct from a throttle branch pipe and take aside. In the photo the throttle branch pipe after removal of an inlet air offtake and a detachment of a hose from the proofreader of idling is shown.
3. Accurately designate and disconnect from a throttle branch pipe at first cables, then sockets and vacuum hoses. Merge about 1 l of liquid from the cooling system.
4. Turn out a broad tank and again turn, thereby having dumped residual pressure in the cooling system. Press and disconnect hoses of the cooling system (arrow), having weakened collars.
5. Turn off all bolts and nuts of fastening (arrow) and remove a throttle branch pipe. Muffle an opening in the mixing camera of a collector rags.
6. Installation is carried out upside-down. Tighten all bolts and nuts of fastening with the set moment. Adjust a cable of the drive of a butterfly valve.
