1.1.15. 4-staged automatic transmission

GENERAL INFORMATION

Braking by the engine

For braking by the engine transmission switches to a low gear as follows.

Switch off the button of the switch of the automatic choice of the mode (this measure is effective, only if you move when the lever is in situation D). At the same time the light index of "O/D Off" will light up and transmission will switch to the third transfer.

Councils for driving

If when overcoming acclivity too frequent switching from the 3rd transfer to the 4th and vice versa is observed, then wring out the button of the automatic choice of the mode. After overcoming rise immediately press the button.

When towing the trailer it is not recommended to use the button of the automatic choice of the mode for preservation of efficiency of braking.

For the rest instructions for use 4-speed transmission differ in nothing from rules for 3-speed transmission (see subsection 1.1.14).
